Directors of SHPDK participated in the second meeting of the National Council for Economy and Investments directed by the Prime Minister

Directors of SHPDK participated in the second meeting of the National Council for Economy and Investments directed by the Prime Minister.
What the prime minister emphasized, among other things, for a more competitive economy was:
"Inauguration with the Compact Program of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, MCC, a historic and at the same time avant-garde project in the energy sector worth 236.7 million euros - of which 202 million dollars is a grant from the US Government, while the rest co-financing by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. This project will make Kosovo the country with the largest capacity of batteries per capita in the world"
I call on our most competitive businesses, business associations and projects financed by donors to continue and strengthen the cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. Together, we can develop strategic and operational plans that increase foreign direct investment, exports and promote effective business development. My Chief of Staff at the Prime Minister, Luan Dalipi, and the relevant ministries, have worked closely with the Secretariat of this Council. We have already seen the initial results from this dialogue. For example, we are moving to remove the export license for pharmaceutical products, a non-tariff barrier that has hampered business for many years."
The role of SHPDK and all business organizations that are part of this council have the role of protecting the sectors or businesses they represent!
SHPDK presented some requests that businesses have:
1. VAT reimbursement from companies through the digitalized systems of TAK, every three months without the need for the physical presence of the staff in controls and sub-controls!
2. Export subsidy
3. recognition of marketing expenses that companies make and not 2% (as it is currently and this threshold of recognition of expenses cannot be exceeded)
4. Recognition of waste expenses according to a standard and not always commissions for waste and waste that companies have to dispose of!
As well as other points in order and as steps to be taken that help the producers and facilitate the procedures...
#The KKEI meeting is held as a continuation of the public-private dialogue activities, namely the sectoral forums developed by the KKEI Secretariat, through which the issues raised by the private sector have been identified. This Secretariat is supported by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) through the #European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)#
