In Italy, economic potential is presented in Kosovo

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Italy and the Trade and Investment Agency of Italy, has organized the presentation of the economic potential of Kosovo in Italy and opportunities for economic cooperation.

The opening of this event was made by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Liza Gashi, and the undersecretary of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy, Mrs. Maria Tripodi. Also, through a message this event was greeted by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy, Mr. Antoni Tajani.

The representatives from both governments spoke about the commonalities of the two countries and the possibilities of economic and commercial cooperation.

Deputy Minister Gashi, in her speech, emphasized: "Kosovo, with its recent development, is becoming more and more favorable for investments in Southeast Europe, with the youngest population in Europe and an economy with the possibility of continuous growth. Our geographical position makes Kosovo a favorable location for close proximity, renewable energy, with a potential to transform it into a transport hub connecting East and West".

Also, the parties from both countries discussed the possibilities of bilateral economic partnership between Kosovo and Italy. The representatives of both countries stressed the importance of deepening friendly relations in areas of mutual interest, especially in terms of economic and trade cooperation, and in the field of information technology, with the aim of further developing the excellent cooperation that Kosovo has with Italy. .

At the end of this event, the ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Italy, Mrs. Lendita Haxhitasimi, and the ambassador of the Republic of Italy in Kosovo, Mr. Antonello de Riu, addressed the attendees.
