SHPDK participated in the workshop organized by the Office of Strategic Planning within the Office of the Prime Minister, where the draft of the Strategy for the Specialization of Mençur-S3 was presented and reviewed.
Minister Hajdari thanked the members of the National Team appointed by the decision of the Prime Minister, the representatives of the European Commission, as well as the experts engaged by the Government of Kosovo for the drafting of the Strategy for the Specialization of Mençur-S3.
She emphasized that the Smart Strategy is a document of high importance for our country and an indicator that Kosovo is adopting a contemporary model for economic development in accordance with the initiative of the European Union.
"This innovation-oriented strategy is an essential tool to improve the ecosystem of innovation and research and to guide future investments in the sectors that have been recognized as priority areas in this process," added Minister Hajdari.
The priority areas after an in-depth analysis to find areas and sectors with potential for development in our country have resulted:
Information and Communication Technology (horizontal sector); Creative Industry (horizontal sector);
Green Energy; Wood Processing and Food Processing.
"We aim for Kosovo in the near future to have a smart, stable and comprehensive economy, based on strategic objectives such as: increasing employment, developing innovation, linking education with market needs, social inclusion and impact in the green economy / climate and energy", emphasized Minister Hajdari.
