USAID Awards Grant to Kosovo Producer to Meet Increased Demand

Ciao Berto is one of the leaders in Kosovo for kitchen cabinet and other furniture production and sales. To realize the constantly increasing domestic and export market opportunities, the company needs to expand production capacities. Therefore, on August 24, 2016, USAID EMPOWER Private Sector in partnership with Sida signed a grant agreement with the company which will help finance the purchase of a CNC machine for high-volume serial production. Some 50 new jobs are expected.
